Abstract
In the world of architecture and urban design, the concept of space and its depth has always been one of the central and challenging issues. Space form, as one of the basic elements in spatial configuration, plays a significant role in human experience and perception of the surrounding environment. The present study seeks to investigate how space form affects the depth of space. To achieve this, the investigation and analysis of depth and coherence components in geometric forms have been carried out using library studies and available documents and resources. The main goal of this study is to analyze these components using color graphs produced by the Depthamp software. In this regard, several case studies have been examined to identify forms with the highest level of depth and coherence indicators. This study allows the effect of form on the depth of space in spatial configuration to be examined accurately and comprehensively, using quantitative data and qualitative analyses. Different geometric structures can have different effects on organizational indicators. In general, it can be said that in different organizational patterns, the more forms interact with each other, the more their depth and coherence indices increase significantly. These findings can help to better understand how forms are organized and interact in different patterns and lead to improved designs and more complex structures. They can also be used as a basis for future research in this area to help better understand the complex relationships between form and spatial depth.
