Abstract
Abstract

The formation of a city or any other living complex is mainly influenced by several factors, including the worldview and thinking of those who want to live in it. Cities and the living environment of Muslims are no exception to this rule. The present study has an applied approach and a descriptive-analytical research method. The data were collected using a field documentary method (questionnaire). The statistical population was the residents of the new city of Alishahar and the statistical sample was 372 passers-by living in the new city of Alishahar and were randomly selected. In order to determine the validity, the questionnaire was provided to professors and experts, and some items were modified with their opinions and its content validity was confirmed. The reliability of the research tool (questionnaire) was evaluated with SPSS software and the Cronbach's alpha test was obtained as 0.81; data analysis was performed using the t-test. The results of the present study indicated that, at a significance level of less than 0.05, the average value of the indicators was 87.47 units, which had a difference of 20.53 units with its average, which indicates a significant difference. It can be concluded that the four principles of introversion, mosque-centeredness, neighborhood-centeredness, and naturalism have been significantly ignored in the design and urban planning of the new city of Aalishahr, and this city is far from the Iranian-Islamic identity.
