Abstract
Urban management includes policies, programs and activities that ensure that the growing population of the city will have infrastructure, housing and employment. The foundation of urban management is to take an active role in the development, management and coordination of resources to achieve urban development goals. In addition to paving the way for a common vision of development, urban management can be very beneficial for cities and citizens. While some people mostly have the image of developed countries in mind with well-planned spaces and abundant resources, it is important to realize that urban management is much more than that. Urban management brings about changes in life in developing countries and provides the possibility of interventions on a different scale according to the needs and resources of each specific place. Improving the current situation in all activities will require the identification of effective factors in improving this situation. In addition, due to the limited resources, it is necessary to score these items so that appropriate measures can be taken at the appropriate time. The purpose of this research is to rate construction projects in Zahedan city. Based on these results, the projects of asphalt implementation, improvement of city signs and road markings, and the construction of multi-storey parking lots were selected as high priorities for implementation.
