The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating and measuring the indicators of urban vitality among the citizens of Jam city in Bushehr province. The method of carrying out descriptive research is a survey, which is practical in terms of purpose. The statistical population for the present study is all the citizens of Jam city in the number of 31436 people based on the statistics of 2015 and the statistical sample of the study is 385 people based on the calculation of Cochran's formula and with an error rate of 5%. The measuring tool of the research is a researcher-made questionnaire with 4 general variables and 38 items, and finally, the completed questionnaires were coded with the help of SPSS statistical software, and tests of correlation coefficient, regression and simple t-test were implemented. The findings showed that based on the results of the Pearson correlation coefficient test, there is a significant relationship between the environmental and social indicators of urban vitality in Jam city, because the significance level of Sig≤.05 is acceptable. Also, there is a significant relationship between the indicators of urban vitality and the increase in the quality of life of citizens in Jam city, and a positive and significant relationship was obtained between the considerations of urban vitality in the design of urban spaces in Jam city. The results showed that urban vitality in the city of Jam was closely related to environmental and social indicators, the quality of life of citizens and the design of urban spaces.
